With over 40 years of industry experience, Rod is the firm’s most senior structural drafter and a long-standing core member of the Xeros Piccolo Consulting Engineers team. Having been with the company since its establishment in 2009 — and through its earlier iterations — Rod brings a depth of technical knowledge and drafting expertise that underpins the quality and consistency of our structural documentation.

Rod possesses an extensive understanding of Australian Standards, drafting principles, and construction methodologies. His proficiency in the preparation of detailed structural drawings and documentation supports the seamless translation of engineering concepts into practical, buildable outcomes.

Throughout his career, Rod has contributed to a wide variety of projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, providing accurate, clear, and compliant documentation that ensures successful project delivery. He is an invaluable resource within the team — offering mentorship to junior staff and maintaining the high professional standards that define the firm’s work.
