Xeros Piccolo Consulting Engineers undertook a comprehensive site investigation to identify the source, entry points, and full extent of termite (white ant) damage within the structure. Our assessment involved a detailed inspection of affected areas, working closely with our building subcontractors to carefully remove linings, finishes, and fixings (where required) to expose concealed framing and accurately determine the condition of the underlying timber elements. This methodical approach ensured that all compromised materials were properly identified, allowing us to assess the structural implications and prevent any hidden damage from being overlooked.

Following the investigation, we developed a clear and practical remediation strategy, including measures to eliminate termite entry points, improve future protection, and replace or repair damaged timber members. The remediation works were designed to restore the structural integrity of the building and provide long-term durability.
