About Us

Xeros Piccolo Consulting Engineers was established in 2009 following the merger of businesses previously led by Philip Xeros, alongside the appointment of Angelo Piccolo — a long-term employee and senior engineer — as Director. Together, Philip and Angelo, supported by a dedicated team of highly skilled engineers, have built a consultancy renowned for delivering specialised engineering services across the Riverina and the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA), while also extending their expertise to projects throughout Australia. In 2022, our team of Directors expanded, with the addition of Alastair Xeros and Nicholas Gleeson.

With offices in Wagga Wagga and Griffith, we provide professional engineering services across regional New South Wales, northern Victoria, and the Australian Capital Territory. Our regional presence allows us to offer locally-informed solutions, respond quickly to client needs, and ensure efficient, effective project delivery.

Our team currently comprises over twenty-five professionals, including engineers, designers, drafters, and administrative staff. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional engineering advice across a diverse range of projects, consistently achieving optimal outcomes for both our clients and the wider community. Our staff maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest design and construction methodologies, enabling the delivery of innovative, practical, and cost-effective solutions for complex engineering challenges.

Xeros Piccolo Consulting Engineers, together with our network of trusted subconsultants, has successfully contributed to the design and delivery of a wide variety of civil, hydraulic, and structural projects across the Riverina and New South Wales. Our clients include local councils, Roads and Maritime Services, the Department of Defence, and private developers. With extensive experience across both public and private sectors, we bring technical expertise, regional knowledge, and a commitment to excellence to every project we undertake.

Currently comprising seven staff, our experienced civil team are equipped to deliver a comprehensive range of services for projects of varying scales and complexity. We specialise in the design and management of subdivision works, including stormwater drainage, sewer networks, carparks, pavements, and road infrastructure. In addition, our team can assist with service location, on-site detention systems, bulk earthworks, and project management, ensuring every aspect of a development is carefully planned and executed. By integrating innovative design solutions with practical construction knowledge, we provide efficient and compliant outcomes that meet client requirements and enhance the functionality and sustainability of the built environment.

Our team of structural engineers and drafters have earned a strong reputation for delivering expert advice across projects of all sizes, including residential, commercial, industrial, educational, bridges, and rural structures. We offer a comprehensive range of design services, tailored to meet the specific requirements of each project. In addition, our senior engineers have extensive experience in failure analysis and are equipped to assess a wide range of engineering failures across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
