7 Dalmeny Drive - New Residential Build

Located just 100 metres from the waterfront, this striking coastal residence presented a number of complex structural engineering challenges. The exposed site required careful consideration of high wind loads, a steep roof pitch, aggressive marine conditions, and poor ground soils.

To enhance the durability of the structure in the harsh salt environment, we supplied a specialised concrete mix designed to provide long-term protection against exposure and corrosion.

Xeros Piccolo Consulting Engineers delivered the complete structural engineering design, including the footings, foundation system, concrete slabs, structural steel, and roof framing. Through innovative engineering solutions, the project successfully achieves both structural resilience and the architect’s design vision in a demanding coastal setting.
